Hi everyone, I sign in and See Ali ;) and TFY ;) but see no action LOL. So how is everyone?

Things here in Oz are pretty cold still despite spring being here, so much for global warming LOL. Tyson my grandson turned seven two weeks ago which gives me the oppurtunity to get him into before and after school care, which has given me back my days and hopefully get some real work going to bring in much needed money.

Health is holding up nothing major apart from a bit of flu for us all but clear now. Looking forward to this house selling so we can take a much needed holiday and relocate well away from here, thinking about Tasmania. Beautiful place.

Well thats me hope your all fit and well

Hi Paul >:(

Glad to see you here. I've been in and out, but never seem to be here when someone else is on lol

It's rather cool here, too. We had summer temperatures yesterday and then back to the 50's today. What a change!

Glad things are looking up for you and your health is holding up. When do you anticipate moving?

Been busy on this end, mostly trying to earn an income. Seems that's a constant! lol

One thing new...a man is supposed to call me lol - someone I know that knows someone that knows someone lol that wanted to meet someone new. I'm up for the call to see what he's like, but not sure beyond that lol Not sure I'm in the mood for a man. Is that abnormal? lol

Anyway...my best to you and hope to meet you here soon...

Hiya Ali,

Well here's a toast :) to your meet, if nothing else heres hoping at least a friend can be made. I think as you mature and going through what some of us have endured, friendship seems to be the more favourable. Once bitten twice shy syndrome LOL. I to miss that company of a partner, but when it comes to the test as it has lately on two occassions, we have become friends in common with nothing else attached.

The house is going up for auction on November 11th. So providing a desirable price is reached, it looks around then we plan to move unless work comes in of a nature that I can maintain the mortgage and not forced to move as I love this place and will never realise another like it in my remaining years with so much of me in it by way of the work done and characterised.

I have a billy cart to finish for my grandson as he has been invited to an annual race, so better go for now. At least he is keeping me creative LOL will post pictures of his birthday thing I did later.

God Bless

Just a little something I knocked up for my Grandsons birthday. The kids would have had me running all afternoon so left it to three runs around the paddock. LOL Don't know who had the most fun me or the kids LOL. My Grandson is the one with the hat on.

Whoops that stretched it a bit LOL

As of yet, nothing has transpired with the man lol It's a long story, but I'm now wondering if he even exists. I have his number and was requested to give him a call. I did and twice. I left a message the 2nd time. No answer and as of yet no call back lol The friend of a friend doesn't seem to even know his last name, but said he was a very sweet and great man. Something is off lol

I can only imagine how heartbreaking it is to even think about having to give up your home, much less actually moving. I hope and pray something comes up that will allow you to keep your home. A house is just a house, but a home is a home and that means a great deal and especially as we get older.

I'm sure your grandson keeps you busy in more ways than one lol They can sure tire you out, but on the flip side, I believe they revive a young part of ourselves.

Now THIS looks like fun lol Wow, did you make that? If so, you did a heck of a job. Reminds me of a while back when I hooked up a small utility cart to my lawn mower and rode one of my granddaughters, my nephew and niece around lol They had a ball and so did I. It's clear you are a great father and grandpa.

Thank you so much for sharing the picture with us!!! >:(

Hi! Ali,

Actually the whole thing is made from recycled products LOL, the main trailer which I use around the paddock is created from a bunk bed the chassis part is the ladders, the sides are what the mattresses sat on the wheels from an old sack truck. The boards hung on the sides are two old doors from a job I did and the roof cut out of an old tarp, the rest just scrap wood that sits around your workshop as scrap does LOL. and decorated in thoise bits of paint you seem to collect and never use till it goes hard LOL.

I commend you highly for being so creative and especially using recycled products lol We would get along quite well. I love finding uses for leftover paint and wood. My projects don't always go in the greatest direction, but I've had some to turn out rather well lol

That is incredible! I can never come up with ways to get rid of those odds and ends in a productive way. Your grandson is lucky to have such a creative grandad.
