 Kielbasa Soup Recipe
« Thread Started on Nov 15, 2008, 3:07pm »

Ingredients for Easy and Hot Kielbasa Soup:

2 TBS butter or margarine

8 oz Kielbasa, cut in chunks

1/4 tsp parsley

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can black-eyed peas

1 can chicken broth

2 - 3 cans of water

4 potatoes, cut in chunks and boiled until tender

Directions:

Melt butter or margarine in a skillet. Add Kielbasa and then sprinkle with parsley. Saute Kielbasa with butter and parsley for approximately 10 minutes to blend flavors. Add cream of mushroom soup, black-eyed peas, chicken broth and water. Blend well. Add boiled potatoes. Cook soup on low to medium-low heat for approximately 15 - 20 minutes to allow flavors to blend.

Serve with crusty bread and enjoy!

Note: Amount of ingredients can be adjusted. You may prefer more Kielbasa or more potatoes than is listed. Also, other vegetables may be used such as carrots, onions, peas, etc. Let your creativity be the guide!
